A solid weekend at my home race.
Qualifying P10 and P9 wasn’t the start we were hoping for, but from there we kept moving forward. Heat 1 was a crazy race being on slicks in the wet, my favourite conditions, climbing through to P3.

Heat 2 was another challenging one with a damp track and just dry line, but we managed to come through to P5. Those results put us P2 on the grid for the PreFinal, my highest starting position in the British Kart Championship so far. After a tricky race we crossed the line in P5.
Unfortunately, the weekend didn’t end the way we wanted with P9 in the final, but there are plenty of positives to take away racing in all conditions.
Now it’s time to reset and go again next weekend for Super 4 at Rowrah.

A really positive weekend overall with plenty to take away from Kimbolton.
Qualified P7 and P4 before a DNF in Heat 1 and a P4 finish in Heat 2. Unfortunately, the DNF dropped us back to P11 on the grid for the pre final.

A good charge through the pre final saw us climb to P6, setting us up for the final. We struggled a little for outright pace in the final, but managed to hold on to P6 and come away with some valuable championship points.

My home race at Rowrah in a couple of weeks. Looking forward to racing in front of the home crowd and giving it everything!

Home race weekend, Rowrah Super 4
A little disappointing overall after picking up a rib injury a couple of weeks ago. I missed most of the testing on Friday and Saturday to try and save myself for race day.
I just about managed to get through Heat 1, bringing it home in P5, but unfortunately had to sit out Heat 2 and Heat 3. Starting P16 for the final, I honestly wasn’t sure I’d be able to make it to the finish.
Giving up was never an option though
After digging deep and pushing through, I managed to fight my way to P11 in the final. Not the result we were hoping for, but I’m proud of the determination shown this weekend.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped me get through the weekend. Time to recover and come back stronger

The pace wasn’t quite where we wanted it to be this weekend, but we kept pushing all the way through. Finished 7th after the heats, 5th in the pre-final and came away with 9th in the final.
Plenty to take away and work on heading into the next round at Kimbolton.
First up though, Super 4 at my home track Rowrah in a few weeks time

Round 2 of the KZ2 Super 4 Championship was full of challenges from the start…

A seize in Heat 1 set us back early, but we fought back with P13 in Heat 2 (+6 places) and a strong P2 in Heat 3.
Unfortunately, the DNF in Heat 1 meant we had to start the final from P15.

Gave it everything to the flag and brought it home P11 in the Final. Not the result we’re chasing, but plenty of positives to take and the pace is there.

We keep pushing!
